This auction is for 25 free moss rose seeds, also known as portulaca. They are various different colours. Some of them are as shown in the photos, there might even be fancier flowers in this seed lot. I grew double pink portulaca flowers too last year. These reseed easily, you will have them forever. Moss rose portulaca are NOT perennials but they grow again where they've been planted via their seeds if not moved. These plants are very drought resistant. They are hardy and just colorful little beauties to have when you want to have lots of colourful 4-6" height plants around. From my 2014 gardens. Free shipping!

Same here in NY. This is my first time growing them, and when I got the starts it was the end of the Fall season. So I had to keep them indoors.

I have the fuchsia colored portulaca and they bloomed on my windowsill all winter. A very hardy plant. Watching <QQ>

I received a start, stuck it in dirt, put it on my windowsill. The color is amazing. The bloom continuously :)

In order to do that here, we'd have to bring them inside before the Fall Time. It gets too cold up north. I'm going to try it this year. Thanks.
