It's still brand new and I never took the plastic piece out to start it up. Those are not bracelets - they are the wristbands to go with the watch itself. I am not sure of the total length itself with the watch and wristbands, but they do have elastic in the bands themselves.

I don't have the watch set in front of me and I am not sure of the length itself. But I am assuming it's 7-8".
