Yes i use theses when im on the deck reading or pulling weeds in the garden.. they work well just attach it to ur waste band its kinda like a fan so it blows the repellent around you.. hope that helps :)) thanks for looking and good luck..

depends on usage ,they are refillable, it comes with cartridge you can see when it's empty ,, then simply put in new cartridge, :))
