Here is a VINTAGE used alarm clock the metal is scuffed, pitted still a cool clock worked last time I used out but that was over 10 years ago been in storage about that long. All Listia rules apply, Tom pictures so look at them,no buyers remorse,and no refunds, item is as is. PayPal only for shipping will accept reasonable gin offers. Uses a c battery if I had one would check to see if works, pretty positive it does

Very nice item. I am most interested, as you may have guessed. It might be a good idea to open the back to check on the battery. When items are stored for quite awhile, they can leak battery acid and corrode. Besides beginning all around nasty and dangerous, it can affect the function of whatever item they were meant to power. I did not store it worth battery so the compartment is great I will post a picture of it soon. Iopened. back before I listed thinking I had c to test it with but no cs. Just aaa., And aa. I never store batteries in items just because of the reasons you listed.
