A large amethyst geode is the setting for this fantasy scene worked in pewter. A wonderful gift or addition to your own fantasy collection!

A pewter castle looms over a "cliff" and features a gazing ball beneath the winding staircase. In the foreground, a dragon is hatching, while a small dragon in the background approaches the unicorn rampant at the front of the scene.

The amethyst geode is about 4-1/2" long and 2-1/2" deep. It's about 1-1/4" high, not including the pewter figures. The piece is about 3-1/2" tall from the base of the geode to the top turret of the castle.

It was really hard to get decent pictures of this that shows off it's beauty! It might look like I'm showing the same thing over and over, but I was just trying to get the best photos.

The amethyst crystals toward the center are a medium to deep purple, while the crystals on the outside are white.

I purchased this piece in the mid to late 1990's for my own collection. It is not signed or marked.
