Questions & Comments
Phyliss, ask more for mailing fees, then. It shouldn't cost you to give stuff away. I thought it might be less expensive for you, is all.
OMG - charge more! I feel so guilty as it is! I agree about it costing so much to GIVE things away - you are the first person who seems to understand. I am a senior with just SS and postage is killing me! I don't mind too much paying half but often it ends up more. Thanks you made me feel better.
depends on what is won - a dollar for these is half of the cost - it cost me 1.93 to mail an envelope of lace that was rather thin and weighed 1.5 oz at most -
I have only been here a very short time, but I can see how it can easily get out of hand. Seriously, don't let it. I know I would much rather pay the actual shipping costs than have to worry wether or not someone ( the pop-up book, for instance) has been adequately compensated for their generous offering. Who can afford to be taken advantage of? And, why should you be.
I wish Listia provided a way for a winning bidder to increase the number of credits they are willing to offer in exchange for an object. I would gladly have given much more for that pop-up book - and a couple of other things I have acquired with absurdly low bids.
