This recipe is a VERY Hard to find (almost a secret recipe). This is a dessert well known in the town of Rothenburg-ob-der-Tauber, Germany... A little German walled city. This treat called a schneeball or Snowball in english is made at Christmastime ( for the most part) In the bakeries in Rothenburg they do make it practically year-round now as Rothenburg is a Big Tourist town. (google name of town anfd look at images of the town, very old and beautiful. They are covered in either caster sugar, powder sugar, white, milk, and dark chocolate.
I can personally attest to how good these are let alone very filling!!! They are the size of a large orange/baseball. I have had them in all the coverings and can honestly say ...."YUM YUM!"
