I have 55 grams of Schaeffer Wolle yarn (40% wool, 40% polymyde (nylon), 20% acrylic). It has a nice angora feel. I weighed it on my postal scale. I also have added 47 grams of a nice acrylic medium weight yarn.

It has the symbol for hand washing and nothing about drying. I would dry it flat.

I suppose it can be loom knitted, but since I don't knit on a loom I can't say for sure. My friend who loom knits uses all kinds of yarn on hers/
