This is an excellent collection of 2 old cook books. They give details and illustrations on anything that you may want to cook. All the recipes are easy to cook with the detailed guidance this book gives. Illustrations are cool old photos of completed dishes.

The first cookbook is a cool old book. The Sandwich book was printed in 1957 and was given away by Hess Bakery, Barberton Ohio. The book contains many recipes to make multiple sandwiches, even instructions for picnics of 100. The illustrations are those cool old scenes of the 1950's people and food. Some illustrations are photos. The picture is an actual scan of the cover, and you can see the bottom right corner is missing a small piece. There is some scuffing on the back cover. This was minimally used, if at all. Spine and staples are intact. Inside pages are perfect. This is a nice old collectible from a simpler time.

The second book is the Ladies Home Journal Cookbook Sampler from 1968, Curtis Publishing Co. A Curtis Special Project. 11" x 8 1/2" 100 pp. Glossy softcover decorated as if embroidered like a sampler. Binding solid, text clean and unmarked. Great gift for the cookbook collector.
