It still says the Lord's Prayer when you press the button, but the watch itself is not currently running.

I'm sure it works. My mom used to sell Avon & its an Avon product. She bought it to show customers, but never did. Its been in its box for years, which is why the battery ran down. I haven't worn watches since my arm was in a cast years ago.
