Make sure if you have both of the white dip switches in the down position when you hook it to your TV. Instructions that come with it are really weak and lacking any helpful info. The resolution of the device is not High Definition. Good for watching videos but not for playing games or trying to read something on your TV.

You will also need an audio cable to go from the computer to the TV.

that cabled with the yellow end is for video. an additional audio cable with the 3.5 end on one end and the red and white ends on the other is required. I know because I hooked one up before.
