The listing, Ladies Watches: Timex Indiglo, Classic Pooh, Quartz Concepts - all work!!! (w/ brand new batteries!) has ended.
Today I went to a fine jeweler in my town to have 5 watches inspected. Unfortunately, 2 of them did not work even with batteries, and were not worth fixing.
But, my watches auction is BACK, new and improved, with more accurate, detailed information for you!!!
Brand new batteries were professionally installed in these watches today (4/8/11). I will send a receipt from the jeweler as proof of this to the winner.
I asked the jeweler to assess the condition of the face of each watch. The first one on the left, he said, is "moderately scratched." The Pooh Bear one is more mild. Neither of us could really see any scratches at all on the face of the watch all the way to the right in the picture -- the Quartz Concepts.
These watches are NOT new by any means, and the 2 with the genuine leather bands would look MUCH better with new bands.
The Disney Classic Pooh watch (middle) seems to be rare, as I could not find another quite like it anywhere on the internet. The metal plating/coloring/coating (golden color) around the face of this watch does seem to have small flakes missing, or some scratches/nicks in it, when you look closely. It is discolored at the winding/setting spinning knob-thing-device most noticably. The rest is relatively minor. Still VERY cute!
The first watch on the left has a dark blue face. It can be set to keep track of the date, as well as the time! Hands glow in the dark, and it is water resistant up to 50 meters.
The silver-colored watch, as I said, is in the best shape when it comes to its face. An attractive watch. Trusted Quartz reliability. Small pamphlet that comes with it has address of manufacturer, plus prices for various parts and services for it. Could be old info., though.
Quality batteries and skilled labor (correct battery replacement and reassembly of watch) were put into these watches today. They should have a lot of life left in them.
Thank you for looking!
