I don't know if it's because it's Easter-time, but here's a piece that reminds me of a Renaissance cathedral.

This ring is a size 6.5.

There are eight prongs (instead of the more usual 4 or 6) holding a 9 mm, or roughly 5-Carat equivalent Mystic, or Rainbow Topaz. There are four 2 mm clear CZs set into the band on each side, edged in a design resembling beading, or millgrain.

But it's the central portion of the ring that really draws the eye .... it really could be a crown as it rises up from the band holding the stone a full 10 mm above the finger. It's decorated on all sides in beautiful filigree, and ends in the eight prongs which look like the pearls that top a royal crown. I know whoever wins this will feel like a queen!
