Just a quick heads up to you and the winner. There was/is a Bumbo Baby seat recall. It's an easy fix. You just have to order the repair kit. Here are 2 links with information.

the repair kit adds a seat belt. children were fracturing their skulls.

Thats a bit extreme. While it may have happened it wasnt because of the product. Ive used this seat with both of my children without incidents. Its a great product and as I stated before. If you feel the need to order the harness by all means order it. Its free.

It's a minor voluntary recall for all those neglectful parents that stick their child in a seat then go about their business. We used this seat with my nephew with no problems. I can't imagine a child fracturing their skull sitting in this if the parent is actually supervising the child.

What is being recalled by Bumbo?
Bumbo is voluntarily recalling all Bumbo Baby Seats sold in the United States to add a restraint belt and new warning sticker to the seat.

Why is a belt being provided for the Bumbo Baby Seat?
When attached properly, the belt will help prevent children from getting out of or falling from the seat. Even with the belt, the seat should be used only as intended–on the floor with adult supervision. You should never use the Bumbo Baby Seat on a raised surface.

Bumbo has issued a recall for all seats that do not have a belt as several babies have been injured while in the bumbo.

This bumbo is recalled - It is against Listia rules to list recalled item fyi.

You can contact bumbo and get the recall kit then relist this if you want but this is NOT safe for use otherwise!
