I just decided to try one of the ones I have yesterday. I find that it messages the face (vibrates) while the pad and cleanser cleans the face. I like it because I don't have to use my hands to clean my face. It is small, lightweight and easy to use. There is no motion to the cleaning pad, just vibration. I had used a towelette to remove my makeup before using this. I did see that a lot more makeup was removed with this pad and scrub I added.
