10 - 6mm by 4mm Reddish Gemstones

Removed from a gold Cocktail ring before turning in for gold recovery. My husbands business is part scrap gold recovery from PC components & jewelry. The stone was properly lifted with NO scratches.

I have 1,000's of loose gemstones & will be slowly listing them here.

I'm no gemstone grader so I CAN NOT tell you what type of gem it is. I can not grade it either, but I can tell you with a VERY strong magnifier I can see NO inclusions, or feathering, the cut appears even and symmetrical to me.

Looks like smoky quartz or possibly natural garnet.

If it had to be between the 2 It would greatly lean towards garnets...
I am no grader but they have more of a red tint not brown...

I'd say those are Garnets and they're a medium to high grade very pretty!

I couldn't say... It it VERY clean, If I see anything inside the stone it goes to the kids "Treasure box"
