It is not hard, it did not take me too long, to learn, and then i got bored with doing just blankets , so i started doing doll clothed,

when my kids were little I sewed all their playclothes and coats then I started crocheting and I love it now the grandkids ask for stuff, and I do alot of stuff and donate it to our church so they can sell it at there bazaars, this is my way of giving back to the church. New stitches = new things to do.

that's great , i learned to crochet as a teen, then i was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005
and while recovering, i started doing afghans, i have sold 4 , and i did one just to give to a little girl with cancer, it makes me feel good , when people love my stuff,

F & W. Crocheting & knitting are addictive. I started 2 years ago to make prayer shawls with a group in our church. I just love to do both.

I love extras!!!! Last year I spent the whole year making afghans for each 1 of our kids and 1 for every grandchild, 17 total. now the church has asked me about the bazaar already, I love to keep my hands busy. You sound alot like me.
