Actually...this is a 2 of a kind pin...I have one exactly like this. I bought it for my Mother back in 2001 as a gift. It really is a beautiful piece. :)

Honestly, I do not remember where I bought it...I was looking for a lil something to give my Mom on my wedding day, and I found this pin. She just loved it just as much as she loved sewing. It is very unique and I have yet to see another one like it until I saw your auction. :)
