Description

The listing, Box of Sports Trading cards has ended.

A USPS medium flat rate box of sports cards. This is pretty much a hodgepodge, but mostly football and college (and most of those, Michigan State University and University of Notre Dame). There are some basketball cards and a handful of baseball cards. There are a few oversized baseball cards, among them "Full Shot" cards of Tim Salmon, Jeff Bagwell and Tony Gwynn.

They are almost all commons or minor stars - if there is a star card, it is probably from a year late in his career.

As far as condition, overall, they are clean cards. They've been stacked in the box for a while, so the main issue would be bent corners.

The vast majority of the professional cards are probably from the early 1990's. I think the college cards were produced during that time period also. The college cards are cards of that athletes who attended that college throughout all the years, thus I think there is a Magic Johnson and Steve Garvey in a stack of the Michigans State cards I put in the box.

Off-hand, I would have said, "Yes," there should be a nice variety, but the Twins and Vikings might be under-represented.

I took a look at several handfuls, maybe about 200 cards, and I only came across 2 Vikings, and 1 Twin, The Vikings were Robert Smith and Jake Reed (sorry, can't remember what year or make), and the Twin was Rob Wilfong, which I think was a Topps card from the 1980's.
