This notebook is being listed as **FOR PARTS ONLY** because it does not include the battery or AC Adapter.

120 GB Hard Drive included. The machine is licensed for Windows XP and has the COA. Since Windows XP is no longer a supported operating system, it has been loaded with Ubuntu Linux 13.10.

Yes it windows 7 32bit can be loaded if you have a license.

Hi, Was this yours at one time or are you selling it for a freind? Cause i need to know its age. Like very old or old? And is it capable of being upgraded to Windows Vista,7,8 etc..?And last thing-How many ports are on it? Thanks & watching.

It was an old company machine. I would guess it was originally purchased around 2003 or 2004. It has 4 USB 2 ports and vga. It can be upgraded to windows vista windows 7 and windows 8 32 bit but not 64 bit.

Just a question on the computers software.The XP is still on there right? Or was that deleted? And if the XP is on there,is it professional or home?

XP is NOT on this machine. It is loaded with a linux operating system called Ubuntu. It has the COA sticker and key for Windows XP if you wish to install this on your own. Please keep in mind that Windows XP is no longer a supported operating system by Microsoft.

I have a question... I have a dell latitude.. I think 600.. Newho, it has the windows xp on there.. Can i get the operating system you have for that laptop u have, for mine in order for it to qork?? It comes on but i thnk my cuz trying to upgrade it messed it up..

The 600 battery will not fit but the adapter is the same. Ubuntu should work on the 600 without issue

The battery for the D600 and D620 is entirely different. The D620 will take either a 6 cell or 9 cell battery. If you do a google search for dell latitude d620 battery you will see the options available. Note that the D630 takes the same battery as well.

Dthe laptop take a 6 cell battery or 9 cell? From the looks of it, it tke the 6 cell... That battery looks more compatible
