Ram or Rama is a name of a Hindu God, Arti or Aarti is a Hindu religious ritual of worship, a part of puja, in which light from wicks soaked in ghee (purified butter) or camphor is offered to one or more deities. Aartis also refer to the songs sung in praise of the deity, when lamps are being offered. So your name means prayer to Rama. :)

It's more about the divine experience which one can feel rather than understand what it means. English sort of limits its meaning. Ram and aarti are two different words but when put together it not only sounds fascinating but resonates a more clear definition of each of those two words. Aarti means when you yourself become gratitude/unconditional Love. Aarti means when the soul/consciousness is in full tune, in bliss, in alignment with that which has always been inside us (the all pervading--Ram/God).

The google definition of the name is very limited. Ramarti doesn't just mean the act of worshiping a "particular" Ram/God. It has to do with the higher self and realization. Each deity represents just one Divine virtue. All the deities are a humble effort to represent the infinite virtues/characteristics of the One--Ram who we all humans strive to worship.
