The listing, Gorgeous! Pink Sparkly Flower Choker & Earrings has ended.

Absolutely beautiful copper and pink sparkly stone choker and earring set! This is "costume" jewelry - I'm not sure what the stones are, but they have really held their sparkle over the years and they have not discolored.

This set would be perfect with an Easter outfit or as a Mother's Day gift!

Copper choker features 3 flowers in the center - each flower has one pink center stone, surrounded by 5 lighter pink stones, which in turn is surrounded by darker pink stones. The flowers are framed with detailed copper leaves and vines highlighted by more sparkly pink stones. Please see the photos for measurements. The copper has a wonderful patina that I love but could be removed with copper polish. The choker has a long extender chain with a small heart tag on the end.

The post earrings feature one flower surrounded by copper leaves and vines with more pink stones. They are a little over 1" long.

I purchased this set new about 9 years ago. This was one of my favorite sets of jewelry for many years! The display is not included in this auction.

the only reason I didnt bid can not wear copper,it said on A OL it is said to cause cancer today,do not know if this is true,I could never wear it,I am allergic

Wow - I'd never heard that! I wore it fairly often for about 3 years. I had a shirt it went it went perfect with. It's not a set you'd want to wear everyday - it's more of a special occasion and just the right outfit kind of thing.

I really couldn't find much about copper jewelry causing cancer. I actually found articles on the healing properties of copper and how copper has been used for over a millennium to treat various ailments. Cancer.org states that copper helps regulate blood pressure & heart rate. It also states that very high copper levels in the blood has been linked to certain cancer types. From the way the article read, I believe the copper was ingested and not worn. I doubt wearing copper jewelry once in a while will cause cancer.
