This is a Logitech QuickCam Express web cam. It was connected for 2 days to my computer. I disconnected it because no one that I contacted had one and family is close so there was no need. It would be easy to get connected and there is a creativity software bundle included in box. This cam does live video 352 x 288 and still capture 640 x 480. Works with Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype Video and AOL Instant Messenger. You install software, plug in web camera and video instantly. You can make a video call with a single click and keep in touch easily with live video and audio via the internet. Works with all major instant messaging applications. You can use this cam on CRT or desktop or LCD or Notebook. Minimum system requirements are Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista. Also included in this listing is a Labtec microphone. This was also connected for 2 days to my computer. I don't remember if it took a disc to hook up or not but I only have the microphone and the end piece that you plug into the computer. It works well when it was plugged into my computer. But again there was no need for a microphone. So you will be getting these 2 items.
