6.5 mm is the size used by Wenger. 2.5inches for our part of the World.

This isn't my auction, but I happen to know they're about two inches long closed. If it's the real thing, they're great little knives. You can wear them out, but it takes a lot to do it. Trouble is, there are lots of fakes out there. The real deal are commonly made by Victorinox, but also by Wenger. Wenger uses the line, Genuine Swiss Army, while Victorinox uses "Genuine Swiss Army." That's in recent years, anyway, if you go back a good ways, other brands were used, but are considered legit. You definitely don't want the Chinese copies, they're worthless.

My husband and I have been selling these knives for quite a while on eBay and have been buying and selling these knives with 100 % feedback. I take exception to your comments as you're trying to pass yourself as some sort of expert in SAK.
I don't think it is a lot of trouble for anyone to look at the end of the blade to see the emblem(s) . The preferences that others have to the Wenger SAK, as well as the Victorinox SAK is indicative of the difference between people. Have a great day.

Had one exactly like the one shown. Never seen another one just like until today. Best damn knife made is by Wenger.

Nana, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm NOT saying yours are fakes. I'm saying there are fakes out there, and some are clever about how they mark them. If you say they're the real deal, then I have no reason to doubt you.

Well, from what I can see, this is the real deal. I don't think many understand how useful a little blade like this can be, especially one that holds an edge a long, long time even under hard use. Of course, even the real deal isn't impervious, I've broken a few of the real ones trying to make them do more than they were meant to do. One, I used like a box cutter for months on a job where I needed one almost constantly. The little knife did a hell of a job, once sharpened, it held the edge for months, even though I was cutting boxes, plastic wrap and who knows what on a daily basis. I like them a lot, even in this size, though I have the bigger sizes as well. Heck I have a gift one that has my name engraved on it. that one stays in the box locked in a safe, not all that valuable to the world, but irreplaceable to me.
