Description

The listing, CAMERA BUNDLE - GOTTA SEE TO BELIEVE! SLR PENTAX ZX-M 35mm and much more!! has ended.

First, this is NOT a digital Pentax camera. This is a 35mm DSR Pentax with full manual controls.
I won this on Listia and used it for a class past semester and this camera was amazing! Camera is in perfect condition. Please see pictures to see camera controls and lens. Camera has a brand new battery in it. The other items are 2 bags to store whatever camera you have now and the Pentax. Both bags are in fair condition, not the best, but broken in and sits the camera perfectly.
The other camera with this auction is a toy camera, it was made by Betley. Again, I won this off of Listia to play around with but never got the chance. Comes in a leather pouch for protection.
As a bonus, I am throwing in a vintage light meter, it does work but I already have a Sekonic that I carry around religiously.
Also, another bonus, two rolls of Fuji 800 color film.

Again, this is a film SLR, not digital.
As always, free shipping with confirmation.

Thanks for stopping in!

@Gilly2878 You can use all pentax lenses on any pentax dslr (from the older M mount, which requires an adapter, all the way through the K mount, no adapter required). Nikon is same way. I think Canon is one of the few that changed their mount so completely when they went to digital that you can't use older lenses

Do you know if the pentax lens is interchangable on the pentax dslrs?
Apr 11th, 2011 at 10:03:31 PM PDT by

I am not sure, I only know that this line was specific to certain lenses. It would probably be best to ask someone at your local camera store in order to be sure. It does have the threads similar to dslr mounts, but I can't be sure your camera would take it.

i am only bidding on this for the toy camera. i have a holga right now and would love one to make into a long exposure camera.

Awesome, but I have to be clear that this camera is not a medium format like most Holgas.

Does it come with one or two lens? A flash, too, maybe? How beginner friendly is it?

Comes with one lens. I wasn't given a flash for the camera when I inherited it, and the course I took with it (Photo 2) didn't require one so I never made that purchase. That would be on the winner to obtain.
As for it's friendliness, if you understand manual controls already you won't have a problem - at all! But, let's say you wanna skip all that and go right on to shooting.... that's not a problem either. It has an automatic feature.

I should probably be a little clearer in this, what I just described above was the Pentax SLR and not the Bentley toy camera. The Bentley camera has a lens attached and doesn't dismount. It's entirely made of plastic and takes (more or less) vintage looking photographs. Light leaks are common, dust is common and etc. It's a neat camera to play with, but I wouldn't take a serious photograph with it. I'd keep it, but I already have a Holga.
