Just got a new mouse as a gift so I thought I would put this one on for someone who may want/need a good wireless mouse..Microsoft wireless optical mouse- check out the ratings and info here----

sorry about that!! the one on the left with the cord is the base or more of a transmitter. The mouse itself is wireless, the base is what you plug into your computer or laptop.

When I was using this I set the base back behind my laptop out of sight. Worked really well, I had no interference at all and all that could be seen was the mouse itself.. hope that helps
