The earrings are absolutely because I broke one in half to see awhile ago. The pear or tear drop shapes & the cylinders look to be Lapis, just the right amount of pyrite in them to be real. The beads seem a bit lighter & marbled like sodalite almost. I bought this necklace already made. I made the earrings . So I don't have any extra to tear apart. They don't look dyed though. I bought it as Lapis & if the sellers are dishonest I apologize. I believe the set is worth 499 , maybe not 4999. I will be checking with the seller tomorrow and give you the best answer I can. No problem with your question as I know my gems too: )
