How wide is it? I have a 17 inch widescreen laptop and am having a hegg of a time finding a laptop cooler or anything of this type that it will fit on and not be wobbly.

I don't think this one would be that bad because the height is adjustable, and the laptop gets engulf ones you put in it on that little clasp below the keyboard area. Refer to the last picture. So you can just put your laptop to a "not so high" for it to be able to look comfortable. :)
