It is marked on the back
" Gold Front Frame"
I know nothing about this item..
It says the front frame is Gold I can not guarantee this, I have not tested this item so will not guarantee to be pure gold.
However in my openio it is real gold.
In the US it leglly has to be marked what the KT is like 14Kt or GP or GF..This one doesnt have this,however other countries have their own system for stamping and some do not stamp at all..
Magnet Does Not Attract to it,however the magnet test isnt fool proof..
So again your guess is as good as mine but I would guess yes it is real gold frame only noth the backing jsut front frame..
The Cameo is of some type of pink stone??
Not sure what type of stone..
Sorry I can not give you any other information about hi piece...
It is Approx. 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide.
In excellent condition for the age,just nomal everyday ware,
This item come from an estate auction in Northern Ohio area about 6 years ago...
