The listing, Gold and Citrine Cocktail Ring! Size 9! HUGE! High-End Jewelry! Free ship! has ended.
This is a really interesting piece from my dear ol' Ma, and she stated she got it in the last 20 years.
Thanks? So research is a little tough, but I did take it to a jeweler who stated it's NOT true gold, it's a Gold over Sterling Silver deal. Still heavy stuff, good quality. It has a stamp in it "Beta" but the lady couldn't explain it to me, and I only know about 10 general jewelry stamps. So if anyone in Listia land has a good opinion, feel free to help guide the bidding value on this.
She did get out her little glass scope-thing (I'm a network engineer, I have no idea what the thing is called!) and looked at the gems, and confirmed they appear to be citrine, my birthstone, which is unfortunate because yellow/orange birthstones are a bit lame. Why couldn't I have sapphire, HUH SEPTEMBER? WHY?
The lady at the jeweler put this piece around $150, but to me it's only worth what one would pay for it. And I dislike the masses of yellow/orange, plus I'm too busy with my hands stuck in a server closet or wiping baby vomit off the couch so this ring isn't really my "bag" :)
I do not see stones missing at all from the ring they appear to be in the settings very evenly.
The metal has no pitting or distinguishing scratches.
Anyway, so it's a heavy ring, substantial in size, size 8.5 - 9 (I say 9 because I try on LOTS of rings, this one is a bit big on my middle finger which fits an 8.5 nicely).
Free ship in the United States and Canada.
