My grandfather always said it was sterling...although its not stamped it does say silver...i did just look it up and i apologize it is silver plated...thank u for the input

Godinger never manufactured anything Sterling, only very well designed silver-plate utensils.

This set probably sold for $200-$300 years ago. Godinger has been around about 30 years.
