Just to prove I'm not partial to those with small fingers, here's one that's tagged a Size 12, but came up a Size 11.75 on my sizer. It's set in a .925 Sterling Silver (Stamped) modified four-prong solitaire setting.

The main stone is a cushion-cut medium-light purple Cubic Zirconia that's so high-quality that it actually changes color as it refracts light, so it was difficult to decide what to call it -- Tanzanite? Alexandrite? Whatever you want to call it, it's gorgeous. It measures 13 mm across, and is approx. 8 Carat equivalent.

The setting is unusual, too, and highlights the stone, rather than detracting from it. The band simply widens slightly as it comes up to create a pair of millgrain-detailed leaves (each set with a tiny CZ) and there are five 2 mm prong-set clear CZs on the front and back of the main stone. Simple. Elegant. There is a very delicately-made gallery underneath which lets in lots of light, so whoever wins this ring will definitely need sunglasses.
