Description

The listing, Dorothy Wizard of Oz Figure - Free Shipping has ended.

This Dorothy figure is so cute and very detailed! She is made of hard plastic and on the back of her dress near the bottom it reads 1995 Turner Ent. Co. Turner Entertainment issued a set of these in 1995, but all I have is Dorothy in her ruby red slippers. So, that probably means tin man is hiding so he doesn't get struck by lightening, scarecrow is hiding with him and so is the cowardly lion. Toto is running ahead of Dorothy scouting the right path back to Kansas. Dorothy stands app 7" tall. Her hands move and she turns at the waist but her feet do not move. She does stand by herself on a hard surface. There is a tiny worn area on the left side, just below her waistline. You can only tell if you're looking for it; I just noticed it.

Shipping free in the USA only, to verified bidders only.

UPDATE: 4/16 - I added 2 new pics that show the scrape or worn area. If you're looking at her, it is on the left side-on her right side. I turned her body to the side so that I could capture it, so in the last 2 pics, it may look like it is on the back of her dress, but it is definitely on her side.

Thanks for watching and bidding!

Cool-I am going to go through some of my boxes this week; I don't think I have anymore Wizard of Oz stuff (who knows what's in some of those boxes, lol), but if I do, I'll put it up on Listia

Are you talking about the small tan-looking stain on the newest pics? if so, I didn't see that when I took the pic, but noticed it after I posted the new pics. Whatever it was wiped right off. If thats not the area you were talking about please let me know. I did wipe that off, but that is all I have done to it. Collectors of specific items always know what to do to clean items more than sellers who may specialize in other areas of collecting. For instance I am a book, ephemera and glass collector. So it is better that I leave cleaning toys, plastics, jewelry, metals etc to the buyer.
