The listing, ATT Pantech Phone has ended.
This phone was used for only 1 month before we switched to a new plan.
Wear on the phone consists of...three small surface scratches near the logo that can be seen when the phone is tilted toward the sun. The rear has some wear around the camera eye--as seen in the close-up.
Please see this link to get more information about the phone and all its cool features!
i have one of these, they have the option of very simple use or advanced options, very large keyboard for very easy texting, and touch screen also. one of the most useful phones that i have ever owned, and it does not require a data plan thru att
india has extremely high shipping surcharge (can't remember what they like to call it) for all electronics over (i believe) somewhere around $8. they like to charge the shipper and not the reciever, and several bidders on listia know this and that is why they keep asking for shipping to india.
it is duty or customs fees: here is one such example and it's refernece page, http://www.amitbhawani.com/blog/usps-india-shipping-foreign-customs-duties-rules/
The Customs Department would charge you with a Duty Fees which ranges from 4% to a unknown percentage because sometimes the department would hold the package claiming that its under valued when compared to the market rates of the same product. Hence the overall cost increases because if you purchase a computer item like Digital Camera, LCD Monitors, RAM, Processors etc through Online Stores like ebay, amazon and the seller sells you some Digital Camera at 300$, the customs department would revalue it at Indian Products Price Lists and then levy a duty on the price. Most of the times the Indian Value is very high compared to the US prices and this includes purchases of refurnished models, seconds offers, bulk deals all of which are ignored by the department while valuation.
