This auction is for 30 heirloom tomato seeds. You will get 5 seeds each of -

Bloody Butcher - "Medium sized, deep red skinned tomato. Fruits generally weigh 3-5 oz. Plants are fairly vigorous and produce full flavored fruits that tend to ripen quickly. Excellent for short summer areas. A popular variety that is still uncommon in cultivation."

Ferris Wheel - "A good pink tomato. Juicy, mild and slightly sweet. Some fruits are as small as 8 oz, but a pound is typical. Released by the John A Salzer Seed Company of La Crosse, Wisconsin around 1907."

Mortgage Lifter - Is so named because the developer of this heirloom variety used the proceeds he made from selling his plants for the then high price of $1 a plant to pay off his $6,000 mortgage back in the 1940's.

White Tomesol - "The cream-colored fruit are beautiful, smooth, and weigh about 8 oz each. The vines set heavy yields of this rare treasure."

Tigerella - " Tasty round fruit are bright red with orange stripes. The 2" tomatoes are quite beautiful. The yields are high even in cool summers, and it starts producing very early. It also has good disease resistance. Originated in England. A good greenhouse crop."

Black Giant - "Big purple-black fruit are a favorite of seed collectors. The dark globe fruit weigh 6-14 oz and are borne on highly productive vines that start producing fairly early. Wonderful taste!"

These are all heirloom varieties, packaged for 2011
