Melissa, you are absolutely right! This Dooney and Bourke handbag and coin purse not only look black, they are black. The dust colver is blue and white. The handbag measures 12 inches high x 17 inches wide. The drop on the strap is 8 1/2 inches. The coin purse is 4 1/2 inches high and 6 1/4 inches wide. Our home is absolutely smoke free. I will not allow anyone to smoke in my home. Occasionally, my Yorkshire Terrier will sneak out in the backyard. I will not let him in the house with any stray cigarette or cigar ends he has found. I have to put my foot down to him somewhere. LOL
