I want to bid on it for my daughter but I want to know if you do tracking the only way you can track it is when you go to the post office you mail your item to the winner with tracking that's what im asking you when you mail it are you getting the tracking number and you post it on here for the winner

What's she's trying to say is if u get verified u will get more bids. Also once u sold a few items with good feedback u will get more bids! People are nervous of new members because there's been alot of scammers on here and they are always new members. But u are doing well! U are replying to comments which shows u are active. And u posted extra photos when asked. A+!

If u want to get verified. It's simple. It will take only seconds to do. What it is -is just verifying thru listia-that u are legit.
To do so you have to go to the actual website www.listia.com
You can't do it from the APP.
Once u are there-sign in and click on your profile pic on the top right-a drop down menu pops up. -you chose MY LISTIA which is the 1st option. When ur on your page, scroll down and u will see a column on the left side- which will say things like MESSAGES INBOX SENT WATCHING COMMENTS etc. scroll to the bottom and U will see something saying VERIFY UR ACCOUNT and SAVED ADDRESS. Click those. N verify.
Verify address is just putting in and saving your address. Listia will verify its a real address. Verify thru phone-you just will get a code sent to what ever phone # u want and than enter code. Also can verify thru Facebook n twitter. U dont have to do all of them-but the more u do the more verified u become.
I didnt verify thru FB but that's bc I don't want to. Lol and I've never had a problem. Once u sell a few items with positive feedback-u will be trusted more.

As for tracking- there is a way to track. What their asking u is if u will provide tracking. ((Its a extra feature that you don't HAVE to do, but it does protect u and protects the buyer. Becuz the buyer can't get the package /item than say they never got it, and than u lose your credits and the item because the tracking proves it was delivered to their address. Plus it protects the buyer because they will have proof that u shipped it once u send them the tracking number.)
When u go to your post office to ship a package, just tell them u want tracking. They will add a tracking sticker on the package (it's a bar code with #s) than they will give u the #s that are on that bar code too. Everytime the package gets handled-at the post office, in sorting, -etc. the workers will scan the bar code. The information will upload to the USPS.com website so u can see where it's at and when it will be delivered etc. the mail man will also scan the package as he is putting it into the buyers mailbox. So it will upload on the site that it was delivered. This way no one can say they never got the package. Plus in the case it gets lost-tracking can find it.
Once you get tracking on it- and get the #s from the post office, you would come back and send the winner the #s too. This way both parties have it. The website USPS.com is where u can enter the tracking numbers and check on the package!
However-they are asking because it does cost more. It will cost $1.15 for tracking. That's on top of what ever it costs to ship your package.
Shipping cost can be found on USPS website too! The smaller and lighter a package the cheaper it is to ship.

I've seen people say they will not do tracking bc they can't afford it. I've seen people say if the winner wants tracking than they must pay for it. I always do tracking. Unless its something that has ended under 2000 credits than I won't.

Wow. Lol I typed alot. Lol sorry!' I just was reading your comments and figured i would help an explain stuff! When I was new, no one explained this to me and I was so confused and frustrated. Had alot of trial and error! Lol
