Not todays Wal-Mart recreations. There are NO PLASTIC stones. I believe the large teardrops to be hematite. The hearts have a light pink enamel center. The, "diamonds" inside the stars, around 7mm I'm sure are NOT real diamonds. But are beautiful glass or crystal fakes of some variety. Tho they are set deep into the stars they still manage to shoot the lights back out of them in a dazzling array of colors that can certainly be seen from across a large room or from the opposite side of the street. I have no idea what the pink stones are, but I do feel certain that they are stones. They look to me to be no different than the tanzanite in a similar ring I have, but Im no professional. They are probably something else. Something every bit as beautiful. With a span of approximately 4 mm across and 8mm tall. They will certainly be noticed above most any other piece.
