The listing, Another really cool, requested, grey, Beret/Slouch hat has ended.

This is another requested hat especially for my Listia fans. I'll probably hold off on the grey ones for awhile now . This hat is a little more of an open weave and so it is a little more lightweight. It has lots of slouch so it will hold shoulder length hair. Feel free to ask any questions.

Is this a barrete style one? Idky but I like the other ones better, are those ones for shorter hair or something? Can u do another one like the other one u have listed buy more light weight/ open weave. I wanna learn how to knit so bad! Is it easy? Like if I got a learning kit wud it be easy? There's so much diff stuff for knitting so it confuses me.

Yes, this is the beret style. The difference is that the beanie is straight and long and the beret is circular. The reason they call them "slouches" is because they are not really tight and have some drape to them and are usually worn further back on the head than right above the eyebrows. Yes, I can do lots of pretty , different, open weave styles. These hats are crochet and it's very easy. Just get about an "h" hook and some yarn and check out the how to crochet u tubes. You'll have a blast.

so this is crochet not knit? someone taught me a little when i was younger but could never get the second row started. i was gonna bid on a kitting kit but idk if i should now, should i just stick to crochet? is it easier to learn crochet first and then go to knitting?

Crochet requires one hook. Knitting requires two needles. Crochet is faster to me and easier. If your the type that loves a challenge go ahead and try them both. I knew how to knit before I did crochet. I love them both but do more crochet.

I love these slouchy hats! I like when there a little snugger so they dont slide so far back, will be bidding on this one! Any way to make a white or pink? My little girl LOVES! her grey one, maybe i could message you a pic and let me know if you can make that style? Thanks! F&W..also do you make them in a lighter, soft crochet for spring versus heavier winter knit? Beautiful work!

Sure can. I have a request for a red one and will do a pink one too and post them with my next bunch. I usually post 5 or six every two weeks or so. Keep an eye on my auctions and you'll probably see a pink one!
