it doesn't have a manual, but it is so easy to use first row of icons are games, second row of icons are shapes and numbers. if the game asking you for a shape ex 3 circles. you find a circle from the second row and just press it 3 times. trust me it is really easy. if you guys have any questions about the games just ask and i would be more then happy to explain it to you. thanks

i would say as soon as the child would start to learn the alphabet and numbers my guess would be 3 yrs old and up
