The listing, Strawberry Spinach Bush Seeds (10) has ended.
A native American plant, this annual sets tiny, deliciously tender leaves that can be cooked like spinach or used fresh in
salads. It also sets red berries in late summer and fall that taste a bit like mulberries and are lovely fresh or canned. This is a natural plant. NO GMO. Auction is for 10 seeds. You'll get 2 harvests a year from this unique plant. I will ship in a regular envelope, seeds protected by bubble wrap. Seeds are extremely tiny.
Grow Strawberry Spinach in full sun (direct sowing works the best) and rich, fertile soil. It reaches about 18 inches high and 12 inches wide. It needs no staking or support. Easy to grow and trouble free. Direct sow seeds after the soil has warmed up in late spring. Cover seeds with soil abut 4 times the thickness of the seed. Firm the soil and keep it moist, but not overly wet. Do not allow it to dry out. As the seedlings emerge, thin them to 12 inches apart.
