It does not say. But it looks like 2 ply to me. I crocheted MANY years ago. My grandmother had terms for yarn weights: baby yarn, regular yarn, and rug yarn. This is regular yarn, to me. I doubt that helps you, but I enjoyed thinking of my grandmother. : ) Thanks
