I have looked everywhere on the label and can't find anything that states what "ply".

There is usually a number in a small box on the back of the label. Ex. 4 medium, 6 super chunky

I have seen that on other yarn I have, but it is not on this one. I did find out what "ply" means. It is 2 ply. : ) I used to crochet MANY years ago, but forgot what that was. It's what I call regular yarn, not rug yarn or baby yarn. These are my grandmother's terms. LOL
