The "overprinted" 50 drachma on 1d (surcharged) stamp with black border is a mourning issue honoring the death of King George II, in 1947.
Pre-existing stamps were often used in such circumstances to respond to the national crisis as quickly as possible. Designing and releasing a new stamp would be quite time consuming. These were available within two weeks of The Kings death.

since these are so old can you include a couple stamp holders and when mailed put them between two peices of cardboard because what a shame it would be to receive them bent and crumpled up... please
