A pretty costume jewelry set! The owl is so cute in shades of lavender, pale green, and yellow on the wings, inside tiny ears & two little stripes at the outer corners of his eyes. There is white on his wings above the yellow. His eyes are white with black pupils. His little round body has tiny flowers in lavender & a slightly darker green.

His body is outlined in a gold color.

He is on a gold tone chain which is 18 1/2 inches long.

The earring are flower studs, the shade of green to match the flowers on his round little body & the two strips of the same color on his wings. There is a little clear glass bead in the center of each flower earring. The earrings are outlined in the same golden color as the owl & the chain.

The set is in an attractive gift box, silver foil bottom with a light purple top which shimmers & shines as if it were covered in glitter. It's not, but looks as though it is. The gift box is quite pretty.

The pastel colors of this set cry out "Spring! and Easter!"

This set is costume jewelry, no real gold plating or trim outlining the owl or earrings. The chain is not real gold plating, it is an unknown alloy, with no information on the package saying what it is made of.

It's just pretty. It would be a nice set to put in an Easter basket for a young girl, perhaps 8 years old and up. This is not intended for small children. It is suitable for what I call "fun jewelry" - I wore mine to the grocery store with a black tank top & received compliments on my pretty owl & flower earrings.

This winter seems to be never ending. The colors of this necklace & earring set reminds me that spring will, indeed, come this year, just a bit late!
