This auction is for 1 small bag of Thai Red Chili seeds. I harvested these myself from chilis grown and dried in 2012. Last year, the seeds from this batch that I planted had approximately a 98% germination rate. This year they seem a little less prolific, & they took about a week and a half to sprout a root when I put some in a wet paper towel. Still, with 50+ seeds, you should have a decent crop. Use Get It Now and I'll send you 3 bags, thats 150+ seeds!

Thai red chilis are very hot, with a Scoville rating of 50,000 to 100,000. They're fantastic for flavoring all sort of dishes, and they dry well when strung up in bunches in a cool, dry place.

In each bag I counted out 50 seeds, then added an extra pinch. If you dry your own mature peppers, you can harvest a LOT of seeds yourself for next year. It is recommended to start the plants inside, because it can take 3 to 4 months from planting to harvesting.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HANDLING THESE SEEDS AND PEPPERS WITH GLOVES ON.
