Organic Broadleaf Sage, a perennial herb, 35+ 2014 seeds from respected company. Packed in If You Care Parchment, then in small plastic bag. Recommend opening in larger bag ! Often used as seasoning for its "mildly pungent flavor and pleasant odor." Use fresh or dried. Easy to grow in containers or raised beds. Thought I'd lost mine due to cold, but coming back. Got a new 2014 pkg., that I'm sharing. When plants flower, cut just as flowers open & dry on a screen to use in arrangements, wreaths, etc.; 10-20 days to germinate. Plant 1/8" deep, 12" apart. I mixed in purple basil plus zinnias, lemon grass, & pot marigold in bed--really pretty. We only raise and eat organic food--no pesticides, fertilized with worm castings, fish emulsion, & organic compost. If we have to buy commercial soil, we buy high grade organic.
