Every book is in great condition. However the 1st page of The Lion King is detached from binding (that page still works with the pen). The pen works just fine. We've had the bundle for awhile now & it's just been collecting dust on the shelf.. It works just as well as similar LeapFrog interactive sets. I'm not sure how much longer the batteries will last. Replacement batteries (the little round ones) can be found in stores & online. As of right now, it's fully functional & ready to go for your little one.
