Seeds collected from my plants, MATURE RIPENED TO RED pods.

Black Pearl is a hybrid. I have been able to grow it fairly true from seeds. Be aware that growing it from seed means it is no longer truly a "Black Pearl". It's STILL a beautiful plant.

Image 2 is a cutting from my own plant that was grown from seed. See the lovely ornamental contrast? Foliage seems to grow darker w/ more sun! Fruit can be eaten. They are small & hot! Information below is regarding the true "Black Pearl" chili.

New Ornamental Pepper Wins Prestigious Award
1 look at 'Black Pearl' & it is easy to see why it won this award. Compact, upright plants bear distinctive semi-glossy, deep purple to black leaves, complemented w/ scores of shiny round black-purple "pearls" of fruit that mature to bright red. 'Black Pearl' performs well as either a bedding or pot plant. It offers a vibrant accent to home gardens throughout the summer and fall seasons.

It performs exceptionally well in containers & deserves to be featured as the centerpiece.

We had a very mild winter. My plants overwintered OUTDOORS & are setting fruit again!
15 seeds I consider reasonable GIN offers. I accept paypal. Please feel free to ask questions in the comment section.

BEWARE ROSE SEEDS! There's GOOD reasons why rose seeds AREN'T sold in big garden centers. More info here; http://goo.gl/0UJZry

Beware of home collected seeds from hybrid plants. They're no longer the same variety. Ask questions. Research >reliable< sources. Learn to succeed in your gardening efforts!

Beware! GREEN bell peppers are UNRIPE bell peppers & isn't likely to provide VIABLE seeds. There are very few varieties that produce bell peppers that ripen to green. Same for GREEN Jalapeno & most other pepper varieties. It only take minutes to check the variety & discover the color of the RIPE pepper.

Apple seeds? Mercy! Don't get me started!

Do squirrels eat these? I ask because they eat every thing else.

Are the flowers purple as in third pic? That's unusual for a pepper......I've never seen any color but white.
