Up for grabs is ONE HAND PAINTED Polish Wooden Egg, which was hand painted in Poland, and imported. You are getting the egg shown in photos 2 and beyond.

These eggs, called Pysanki (or Pisanki) are rich with history and tradition, and are very beautiful. They look nice grouped together in baskets, or individually on egg stands.

I work at a store that sells several imported polish items, and these eggs are a huge item all year long. I bought a dozen of them to share with my Listia friends after seeing someone post a Russian egg a while ago.

I will list them one at a time to give everyone a chance to get one. Sorry they aren't in time for you to have out in time for Easter, but they are nice all year long and make great mantle pieces. I did not have the spare funds to get a batch in time for Easter this year. If they are a hit, I will make sure to do better next year. :)

They will be packaged well, with tissue and bubble wrap for protection. I will also include a sheet that shows the meanings of all of the different colors on the eggs.

I normally don't for packages of this nature, but I am offering free shipping on this egg in honor of the holiday. I do not know if I will do free shipping on the next ones that I list.
